I make the trip down to Cannon Falls every few months to stock up on meat. I truly appreciate having a sustainable, humane turkey option in Minnesota. Plus, the staff is always so friendly and it's fun to see what other local products the store stocks. I will never stop recommending Ferndale Market to my friends and family! Very high quality turkeys for thanksgiving. I get one yearly. The shop is also good, I like to swing in there when I'm in Cannon and pick up some various turkey products. A great excuse to make a day of it in Cannon Falls! We purchased a free-range turkey, 12 lbs of ground turkey, and a few other items. The turkey was delicious! I'd skip the poultry herbs they sell though because you can get them fresher and for less $ at Fresh Thyme. Ferndale Market fresh free range turkey made me a turkey god!  I picked up my turkey from Lakewinds Cooperative in Richfield (super convenient), brined it as instructed on the FM website and followed their roasting instructions (325F, breast down).
