Turkey Summer Sausage
Our turkey summer sausage is a product we’re really proud of. We worked closely with an independent processor to create a recipe that meets our standards for clean ingredients. The product is shelf-stable, making it perfect to take on the road for picnics or give as a gift. Our favorite way to enjoy our natural turkey summer sausage is thinly sliced on a meat and cheese board.
Raised with Care
Our family has been raising free-range turkeys since 1939, when our founders Fern and Dale Peterson began our farm in Cannon Falls, MN. More than 80 years later, we continue to raise antibiotic-free turkeys with plenty of room to roam. During temperate months, our turkeys live completely on pasture, rotating to fresh grass weekly. We don’t think there’s any substitute for excellent care and husbandry, and we take pride in creating an environment that maintains turkey health without medications.
Made with Care
We put the same level of care into creating our products that we do in raising our turkeys. Our turkeys are naturally processed, without additives or fillers, at independent facilities in Minnesota. Our turkey products are crafted with clean ingredients you would find in your own kitchen. Our products that say “uncured” on the label are preserved without synthetic nitrates or nitrites. Instead, we rely on natural ingredients, like celery salt, to preserve our uncured turkey products.

Shipping
We ship orders Monday through Wednesday. All of our perishable food items are shipped for next day delivery via UPS. You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed as well as a tracking number when the order ships.
Please note that we ship to the contiguous 48 states only. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes.
We charge a $40 flat rate for shipping outside of Minnesota or $25 within Minnesota, unless otherwise stated.
We are not responsible for any delay or failure to deliver due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address.
We also are not responsible for shipping delays due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions or natural disasters.
Returns
As farmers first, we take great pride in providing our customers with high-quality free-range turkey products. Due to the perishability of our products, we’re not able to provide returns. If your turkey products don’t meet your expectations, please contact us right away at [email protected].
